Sunday School Classes - Classes are offered for all age levels, three years through sixth grade. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. See our Sunday School Page for more information. Maps of class rooms are posted at the entries to the church.
Sunday School Store - Kids use their attendance stickers to buy items in the store.
Nursery - Parents coming to the Nursery for the first time should fill out a registration card and sign in and out each time. Sitters are also available for all church meetings. Call the church office at 939-5703 to schedule child care.
Children's Church - Available for children ages three years to second grade during the 10:45 a.m. worship service.
Dream Team (3rd-6th graders) will have fun monthly outings that are relationship-building and faith-building. Activities may include a lock-in, nature outings, movies, BLORA Christmas lights, and more!
LOGOS (4 years - 5th grade) Christian-based non-denominational Wednesday after-school program from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the nine-month school year. Snacks, Games, Bible Study, Music, Art, Puppets, and Dinner are all included. Back by popular demand are African music and the field trip to Park Place Manor. By request we are planning to bring back our puppet class and puppet show, as well as martial arts/self-defense and Latin Music. Mothers' Day Out - On Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year, our church offers Mother's Day Out from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30. It is open to children 18 months to 4 years of age. For more information about registration and fees, click here.
Vacation Bible School - Each summer we offer a week of vacation bible school to children ages 3 years to those who just finished 5 grade. For information about VBS 2011 and to see pictures taken at the event, click here. For information about VBS 2012, click here. The theme for 2012 is "Babylon."
Belton FUMC Kids Zone Calendar - This is a monthly calendar which has info about all ministries and activities in the children’s area, including MOPS. If you would like to request a calendar like the one below in e-mail form, please contact the church office.
A wooden stork with a sign that reads "The newest member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton" is placed in the front yards of homes when a new baby is born. A gift basket is taken to the family including a small Bible and t-shirt with the church name on it.
