Sunday School Classes - Classes are offered for all age levels, three years through sixth grade. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. See our Sunday School Page for more information. Maps of class rooms are posted at the entries to the church.
Nursery - A nursery staffed by up to four qualified adults is available for all infants to four years. A nursery is provided for all activities and meetings. Up to three nursery workers are in the nursery each Sunday morning. Parents coming to the Nursery for the first time should fill out a registration card and sign in and out each time. Sitters are also available for all church meetings. Call the church office at 939-5703 to schedule child care.
Children's Church - Available for children ages three years to second grade during the 10:45 a.m. worship service.
Wanderful Kids - The Wanderful Kids is a youth activity group for 3rd through 6th graders. Thery enjoy a variety of outings such as putt-putt bowling and swin parties.
Sunday School Store - Kids use their attendance stickers to buy items in the store on August 30th.
Game Night - Church Game Night is on the first Saturday of each month from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, and child care is provided. Bring a game and a snack to share.
Mothers' Day Out - On Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on September 2, 2010 and ending on May 31, 2011 our church will offer Mother's Day Out from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30. It is open to children 18 months to 3 years of age. For more information about registration and fees, click here.
Belton FUMC Kids Zone Calendar - This is a monthly calendar which has info about all ministries and activities in the children’s area, including MOPS. It will be mailed or e-mailed to all children ages from infant to 6th grade. If you would like to request a calendar like the one below in e mail or snail mail form, please contact the church office.

The "Logos" program meets every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center and the Main Building during the nine-month school year. It is a ministry open to all kids in the community in grades K through 5. LOGOS is fun, life changing and Christ-centered. It involves music, worship, bible study, meal time, and recreation.

Playground - In April, 2003, new playground equipment was installed in a fenced in area on the south lawn of the church. Here are some pictures of it just waiting for some kids to enjoy playing on it:
A wooden stork with a sign that reads "The newest member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton" is placed in the front yards of homes when a new baby is born. A gift basket is taken to the family including a small Bible and t-shirt with the church name on it.
