The last Thursday of each month, a group of volunteers come to the church to help assemble, sort, and label the monthly newsletter. You are invited to come and join this group for a couple hours once a month. Generally, the volunteers work from 9:30 am. until noon. Donuts and coffee will be provided to all who will come and help.
Because we will now be printing the newsletter in the church office, and we do not have a folding machine that will fold the 11” x 17” paper in half, we also need a couple volunteers to come in the day before to do the first folding of the newsletter pages, in preparation for the assembly of the newsletter on Wednesday. Please call the church office if you would like to help with this.

NEEDED IN JULY |
During the month of July, our church family supplies volunteers to assist at the Helping Hands Ministiy Food Pantry in Belton at 2210 Holland Rd. We have done this for a number of years and they really depend on our help. In addition, we have a lot of fun working with friends we know and making new acquaintances.
We assist with preparing food sacks or boxes, with bagging up bulk produce, and with helping clients with their food and locating items they need individually (such as hygiene and infant needs). This is an excellent community service activity for youth during the summer.
Starting in June, sign-up sheets will be located in the church office during the week and inside the church entrance on Sunday. You can sign up for one or more 2 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday or Friday.

Every September is our month to help with delivering the meals for Meals-on-Wheels. Please call the church office to volunteer.

The room at the end of the hall by the entrance to the choir room is the location of our book swap. Just bring in hard cover or paperback books that you’ve read and swap them for ones you want to read (No textbooks please.)
