The Society of
St. Andrew

The Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) gets food to hungry people—nutritious fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.

HUNGRY PEOPLE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Join with the Society of St. Andrew to Bridge the Hunger Gap between the abundance of wasted food and the 38 million people in need. The Society of St. Andrew salvages out 30 million pounds of produce each year to feed our nation’s hungry people.

HUNGER FACTS

How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action,” I John 3:17-18

Our church began supporting The Society of St. Andrew at the request of a former president of Methodist Men a few years ago. We have continued supporting it ever since. The group claims to be non-denominational, but seems to have Anglican or Presby roots.
