2012 - "ABOVE AND BEYOND" THE BUDGET
WISH LIST
There are some areas of the church facility that could use some updating and remodeling. We have put together a list of items that could use funding, that is not part of our regular budget. If you would like to contribute to any of these areas, or if you have any questions, please call or come visit Elizabeth, in the church office. These dollar amounts are approximations and not definitive quotes. (939-5703)
- LOGOS SCHOLARSHIP FUND - $2000 This fund helps to cover the expense for children in our community who wish to participate in LOGOS but who’s family cannot afford it.
- COMPUTER LAB - $1000 This lab would be for the Sunday School children and other groups to use.
- BASEMENT / DONUT AREA CARPET - $6000 This gathering area has had much use over the years and is used heavily by College Lunch, LOGOS and VBS.
- EMERGENCY AC REPLACEMENT FUND - $10,000 We have many AC units in our facility and over the past few years we have had to replace more and more of them. Replacing both the inside and outside units of a system is very expensive and is not in our budget.
- FAMILY LIFE CENTER KITCHEN REMODEL - $11,000 We currently are unable to use the FLC Kitchen to the extent that we used to because it needs an extensive remodel.
- FAMILY LIFE CENTER FLOORING - we do not have a figure available for this, but all the flooring in the main, downstairs areas needs to be replaced. That would be the entrance area and hallway, the gym, and the restrooms.
- FAMILY LIFE CENTER RESTROOM REMODEL - we do not have a figure available for this, either, but both restrooms are in need of being totally remodeled.
- CAR-PORT / STORAGE AREA FOR BUSSES - no figure available for this project either. The busses take a lot of abuse from our Texas heat and sun. A car-port would help, and the small storage buildings we have by the north parking lot are old and not very secure from weather and “creatures”. Something more solid is needed.
- STAFF COMPUTER SYSTEM UPGRADE - $10,000 This would be the minimum amount needed for a complete over-haul of the system. This is not a high priority at this time, but will be needed to be looked at seriously within the next 2 years.
