Worship Services

On Sunday mornings, there are two worship services and
Sunday School beginning at the following times:

8:30 a.m. -- Early Worship Service

and

9:30 a.m. -- Sunday School

and

10:45 a.m. -- Late Worship Service

During the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service a Sign Language Interpreter is provided. This service is also recorded on a cassette tape. It is then edited, copied and taken to our members who are no longer able to make it to church. For more information about this ministry, click here.

Child care is available for both services and Sunday School. Our nursery is equipped with a paging system so that parents can be assigned a vibrating pager to alert them if they are needed by the nursery staff.

Children's Message

During the 10:45 a.m. worship service, the paster asks all the children to come down front for a special Children's Message. Following the Children’s Message, we have a Children’s Church for those children between the age of 3 through 1st grade. Children’s Church is located in the Kindergarten Sunday School room, upstairs, and this is where parents need to pick them up after worship.

There is an elevator to the sanctuary located at the north entrance to the church. Space for wheelchairs is available at the front of the sanctuary.

Communion Services

Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Contributions left at the altar rail will be used for the Special Offering Fund. Distribution of the elements is as follows:

  1. An usher will direct you to go to the altar rail with others. You may kneel or stand at the rail to receive the sacrament.
  2. The sacrament will be offered to any who need to receive the elements in their pew. The pastor will ask if any need to be served in their pew at which time you may raise your hand.
  3. All are welcome at the table of our Lord. Children, youth and adults are invited to come to receive the grace of God. You need not be a member of our church family to receive the sacrament.

COMMUNION TEAM

We still need people who can be on our Communion Team to help with clean-up following the Communion Service. Most people on this team do the clean-up twice a year, however, at this time we have had some people who are no longer able to participate and we are trying to get a few more volunteers in to keep that twice a year schedule.

Please contact Betty if interested or let the church office know you want to participate in this ministry.

Perhaps you have wondered what the variety of colors seen during the church year mean. If so, please chick here to learn more about it.
