Matthew 25:36 – I was in prison and you visited me.

KAIROS Mission Statement
The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.

How can I help or be involved?

    • Baking cookies: We need dozens of home baked cookies for the candidates to enjoy during a Kairos weekend. Please bring them to the church parlor no later than February 28. Cookies need to be in quart sized bags of one dozen each marked clearly for Kairos.  The baggies CANNOT have the red slides. Perhaps you could even pray while you bake.  The love of God will be felt.
    • Signing up to Pray: All Kairos activities are bathed in prayer. There will be a prayer chain draped around the room where the Kairos team and candidates are having the program. Before each weekend there will be an opportunity for you to sign a link in the prayer chain promising to pray sometime during the week-end for the team and the candidates. Kairos Prayer Guide
    • Sponsoring a Candidate: All Kairos activities are funded by donations. If you would like to support this ministry by your donation, make your check payable to Kairos Hughes and send it to Belton FUMC or mail it to Mike Grisham, 5550 Elm Grove Rd, Belton, TX 76513. You can also give your donation personally to Mike.  All donations are tax deductible.
    • Being a Volunteer: If you would like to be a volunteer inside the unit or on the outside team, please contact Mike and Nancy Grisham at 598-9085.
    • Going to a Closing Celebration: If you want to attend the Closing Celebration contact Mike or Nancy Grisham for more information. They will need your driver’s license number. It is totally safe. It will TOUCH YOUR HEART.
