Pastor Jeff Miller
Lead Pastor
pastorjeff@fumcmail.org

Hi, I’m Pastor Jeff.  I look forward to meeting you.

I am originally from Michigan and remain a Detroit Tigers’ fan.  I have lived in Southern California and Missouri.  But I got to Texas as soon as I could.

I am blessed to be married to Jannette, who currently serves as pastor of HHUMC. Jeff has two grown children.

I enjoy the values and morals in Dr. Seuss stories.  My favorite book of the Bible is Paul’s letter to the Philippians, because it speaks of the joy from a life in Christ.  A key verse for my life is John 15:16:

“You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you.”

I was raised Roman Catholic and formally committed my life to Christ in January 1980 in the Church of the Nazarene.  I have had the honor of serving as youth minister, director of Christian education, University Chaplain, Chaplain Candidate in the US Naval Reserves and as a Pastor.

I am an amateur, (emphasis on amateur), ventriloquist. I enjoy reading and swimming, spending time with family, and my favorite vacations include the ocean, Disneyland and the Grand Canyon.

Julia Bussey
MDO Director
fumcdayout@gmail.com

Hello! My name is Julia Bussey and I am the new Mother’s Day Out Director. I have been attending Brunch Church and I’ve been working as the Wesley Assistant Director. I have taught elementary school down in Manor ISD as a music teacher. When I heard that FUMC Belton was going to be starting up their MDO program again I wanted to help in whatever capacity that I could. While being MDO Director doesn’t directly require me to help teach the children myself, I do hope to be able to help grow a loving, Christian community starting with the students that come through the MDO program. I have several hobbies which include: drawing, cooking, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and meeting new animals. I have 3 wonderful guinea pigs, Howl, Kalsipher, and Bartholomew, who all love to make new friends and eat hay all day.
