Worship Services

Creating God’s community through Christ’s
boundless grace!

At Belton First United Methodist Church worship of God is central to our faith, our growth, and our discipleship.  All are welcome to experience a relevant message designed to create a closer relationship with Christ, for all of God’s people.
8:30 am – Modern Worship

Start Sunday morning off in a lively style of service as we praise God in a more casual and contemporary praise setting. Come as you are.

You will find scripture, prayers, a relevant message led by Pastor Jeff Miller, and singing of current popular songs heard by Christian artists today.

The children are asked to come forward for a special Children’s Sermon with the Pastor.  This special mini-message is kid friendly and the Pastor often brings props or puppets to help bring the stories of the Bible alive.
10:45 am – Traditions Worship

Where Tradition Meets Today
Our 10:45 Service features a more traditional theme with the Chancel Choir, piano and pipe organ assisting with this worship experience.

This service features hymns, prayer, doxology, and a relevant message led by Pastor Jeff Miller.  It is also sign language interpreted.

Children’s Sermon

The children are asked to come forward for a special Children’s Sermon with the Pastor.  This special mini-message is kid friendly and the Pastor often brings props or puppets to help bring the stories of the Bible alive.

Children’s Church

Following the Children’s Sermon with the Pastor, the children follow an adult leader from the Sanctuary to the Children’s Church Room for a special worship service suited just for this age group.  They can experience Church in a “kid-size” friendly version designed just for them. The children are brought back to the sanctuary before the end of the service.

10:45 am Brunch Church
The service meets in the Family Life Center next to the main church building.

Two thousand years ago, a man wandered around his country celebrating the reign of God through feasts. Feasts in the hills, on the plains, in mansions and hovels, inviting everyone who wanted to banquet under the banner of boundless, divine love. At Belton Brunch Church, we continue in this tradition of feasting and fellowship. We invite you to walk alongside us as we work out the mystery of divine grace. Welcome to the feast!

Communion

Communion is offered on the 1st Sunday of each month and on other special observances.

This is God’s table everyone is welcome.

During communion, we serve grape juice instead of wine.  Gluten-free wafers are also available. If parents feel their children are too young to receive communion they may choose to receive a blessing.
